How about checking the most awesome adventures while riding an elephant? Well, that's what Elephant Safari is all about. National Park's such as Kaziranga in Assam, with its swamps and grasslands with tall thickets of elephant grass and patches of evergreen forest, support the largest number of Rhino in the subcontinent. At Kaziranga, the open country makes wildlife viewing fairly easy and the Elephant safari is an experience you will never forget.

Another Rhino habitat in Assam, but much more famous as a Tiger Reserve is the Manas Tiger Reserve. Located in the foothills of the Bhutan Hills and far from human habitation, this reserve is a world of its own. There are the Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks where Elephants are used for Tiger-tracking and should a tiger be located, the elephant can take visitors to that site

Elephant Safari Corbett Itinerary- 3 Nights / 4 Days

Day 01:[Arrive at Corbett Wilds]
Depart Delhi early morning. Arrive at the Corbett Wilds by lunch. Evening game drive by jeep from Camp to the Corbett National park through Bijrani/ Jhirna Gate. Back to camp by sundown for campfire. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

Day 02: [Corbett Wilds – Jeep Safari - Forest Rest House] 
Early morning game drive by jeep from Camp to the Corbett National park through Bijrani/ Jhirna/ Dhangari Gate after Breakfast with packed lunch. Full day jeep game drive and elephant ride. Dinner and overnight at forest rest house.

Day 03: [Forest Rest House to Corbett Wilds ] 
Early morning game drive by jeep in the forest and possibly with one elephant ride. Lunch is served at Forest Rest House. Post lunch we will have one more JEEP safari. 
Arrive at Corbett Wilds by evening. Overnight in the Corbett Wilds.

Day 04: [Depart for Delhi] 
Wakeup at leisure. Bid goodbye to team and depart for Delhi after breakfast. Packed lunch enroute. Arrive at Delhi by evening.

Elephant Safari Corbett Itinerary- 7 Nights / 8 Days

Day 01:[Arrive at Corbett Wilds]
Depart Delhi early morning. Arrive at the Corbett Wilds by lunch. Evening walk to the surrounding forest and riverside to observe the flora and fauna of the area. Back to camp by sundown for campfire barbecue. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

Day 02: [Corbett Wilds – Jeep Safari] 
Early morning game drive by jeep from Camp to the Corbett National park through Bijrani/ Jhirna Gate. Back to the Camp for 
Breakfast. After Breakfast, leave for Full day excursion to the Jim Corbett House (home to Mr Jim Corbett), Corbett Fall with 
packed lunch. Arrive at the Corbett Wilds by evening. Back to camp by sundown for campfire barbecue.Dinner and overnight at 
Corbett Wilds.

Day 03: [Corbett Wilds to Lohachaur] 
Early morning game drive by jeep from Camp to the Durgadevi gate and enter the tiger reserve on the Elephants. The journey takes you through a stretch of about 16 Kms through the Ramganga valley to Lohachaur - an Old forest rest house built in the early 1900’s. Enroute you shall pass through some excellent patches of fern laden moist sub tropical jungles and would hope to encounter a variety of wildlife. Lunch is served at Domunda - The confluence point of the Ramganga and Mandal rivers. Post lunch we trudge up the Mandal valley where we visit the ‘chunars’ - a Hill tribe who carve pots out of wood. Arrive at Lohachaur by evening. Overnight in the forest rest house / tents.

Day 04: [Lohachaur to Kanda] 
Early morning depart by jeeps to Rathuadhab forest rest house where we meet the Elephants and the Mahouts. Breakfast at Rathuadhab and we travel on the elephant to Maidavan chowki.Post lunch we drive in jeeps to Kanda the Highest forest rest house in the Tiger reserve. Kanda located atop a ridge on the Shivalik ranges is at an altitude of about 1100 mtrs and commands a breathtaking view of the Dhikala chaur and the Ramganga reservoir. Overnight in the forest rest house/tents.

Day 05: [Kanda to Dhikala and back] 
Early morning game drives into the national park with packed breakfast. Lunch at Dhikala and evening game drive back to Kanda. Overnight in the forest rest house/ tents

Day 06: [Kanda to Haldupardao] 
Early Breakfast and depert by jeeps to Haldupardao forest rest house. This is pure Elephant country and one can expect to see Elephant herds besides other wildlife enroute. Arrive at the Haldupardao Forest rest house by noon. Post lunch a game drive into the Sonanadi wildlife sanctuary - a buffer sanctuary to the Corbett National Park. Overnight in the forest rest house and tents.

Day 07:[Haldupardao to Mundiapani to Gujjar Dera ( Palain Valley)] 
Early morning Jeep safari towards the Palain valley. Breakfast at Vatanvasa gate. After breakfast we carry on upstream along the Palain River. Arrive at the Gujjar dera by lunch. Post lunch drive back to Corbett wilds. Overnight at the Corbett Wilds

Day 08: [Depart for Delhi] 
Wakeup at leisure. Bid goodbye to team and depart for Delhi after breakfast. Packed lunch enroute. Arrive at Delhi by evening.
